Human Resource Management through the Factors Forming Perceptions of Organic Farmers

Abstract

Organic agriculture is one of the efforts in developing agriculture. The development of organic agriculture in Indonesia began in the early 1980s marked by an increase in the area of ??organic agriculture, and the number of Indonesian organic producers from year to year. Karanganyar District is one of the districts that are prioritized as a food producer, especially rice. This study aims to assess the situation forming factors of perception and analyze the influence of situation factors on the perception of organic rice farmers. Sampling was done purposively, namely farmers who applied the organic rice farming system as many as 215 people. The basic method of research is descriptive. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regressions. The situation forming factors in the research are selection, similarity, and organization. The results showed that simultaneously and partially there was a significant influence between selection, similarity, and organization on farmers' perceptions.
