Blood Donation Application for IOS Devices

Abstract

This report describes an IT initiative proposal for a mobile blood donation application. There is a huge problem in Saudi Arabia regarding finding compatible donors in short amount of time. This is due to the life cycle of blood that prevents it from being stored for a long period of time. Blood Banks do not always cover the high demand of blood transfusions. Thus, a mobile application is proposed to help solve the problem. The application aims to find donors efficiently in less time. By creating a network to link donors and recipients directly. Moreover, the application will contribute into saving lives. The app was implemented successfully and it can be tested in different iphone devices.
