Youth Transition: From Education to Work
Abstract
This paper presents work-in-progress proposal that aims to seek factors affecting the increasing gap between school passing year of students in traditional and vocational education to settling in a decent income earners. Bangladesh is known for its centralized curriculum in secondary level and for which the factor responsible for effective teaching learning method may also be responsible for the precarity among the skilled yet unemployed youth. The digitalization of job market and various virtual job platform will aid the gop to close down when effective placement mechanism will be adopted by the educational institutions.
