An approach to analyze and predict highway accident scenarios in India

Abstract

Road traffic is increasing at a huge rate which leads to a large number of accidents in India. The average number of vehicles in India is growing at the rate of 10.16% annually, over the last few years [1]. Furthermore, the frequencies of road traffic accidents (RTA) also differ from time to time in the same location causing heterogeneous data.
